Project Overview
As part of the FIFA World Congress, we worked with The Department to deliver the opening celebration event for FIFA as the Women's World Cup 2019 began. The event was held at the magnificent Grand Palais and had over 1,500 attendees present, including the Presidents of Fifa globally and the President of the Republic, M. Macron.
French Gardens
Welcoming the global football community to France, we wanted to recreate a French Chateau and garden scene within the Nave of the Grand Palais, with a vineyard and a French Market area to either side. The main stage was framed by a bespoke built pergola and surrounded with decorative garden flowers and foliage, and hosted all the speeches and the performance of Jain before the night drew to a close.
